Transparent XL Phono Interconnect
OVERVIEW
XLPH is a significant performance upgrade compared to REFERENCE Phono Interconnect because its network components are specifically chosen and matched more closely to suit the electrical characteristics of the cable and its length. The network itself is also calibrated more precisely to the electrical output characteristics of your phono cartridge. We also take into consideration the electrical characteristics of the tonearm wiring itself because it is an extension of the phono cartridge and the phono interconnect. XL Phono transfers well-defined bass energy further down into the bottom octave and provides a quieter interface for low-level audio signals than REFERENCE Phono Interconnect.
XL Phono is handcrafted in the USA and can be upgraded to OPUS or MAGNUM OPUS Phono Interconnects. Custom-machined gold-plated RCAs transfer signals effortlessly through precision OFHC strands. Elegant carbon fiber composite (CFC) modules house the custom calibrated networks and allow electromagnetic fields to expand fully and freely. The CFC modules also accommodate a greater mass of epoxy resin to reduce the impact of resonance and vibrations on delicate signals.
