The Strobe It adjustment tool is made to be used with turntables with adjustable pitch control. On the opposite side of the Strobe It is an alignment jig for aligning the cartridge in the correct position for minimum tracking distortion.
How it Works:
Strobe It works by showing circular arranged dashes that are assigned to speed and frequency. Place Strobe It on the turntable platter and start the turntable. The tonearm remains in its initial position. Align a light source directly to the turntable as Strobe It is rotating. The dashes of the previously pinned ring should now give the impression that they are standing still. If they seem to move slightly forward or backward, the speed is either too high or too low.
