With 150, the goal was to create a fundamentally entertaining loudspeaker, but one with refinement, sophistication and neutrality, so that it would play any source material equally well – and equally enjoyably.

150 is fitted with premium drive units, delivering excellent linear performance and excursion capability. Drawing from what we learned during development of Linn’s flagship 360 loudspeakers, drive units are mounted at the very front of the baffle, with no grille, to minimize occlusion and improve excursion.

Component quality is high throughout. The lower-order passive crossover in 150 is designed for signal purity and, as a result, lends the speaker speed and dynamism.

Inspired by Linn’s flagship 360 loudspeaker is a magnet-mounted trim piece, featuring fine concentric grooves redolent of the surface of a vinyl record and an electro-formed Linn logo which serves as a tweeter guard.
