This archival-grade system is recommended for both lightly soiled records and vintage collections that require deeper restoration. Pair Record Friend™ with premium inner and outer sleeves to preserve your library long after cleaning.
How long does the cleaning fluid last?
Each bottle cleans up to 500 records. Additional fluid and replacement brushes are available for continued care.
How often should I change the water?
Water in the basin can remain for up to a week between sessions, though brushes should be removed after use. For best results, we recommend distilled water to avoid mineral deposits that may cause micro-scratches.
Why a microfiber cloth?
Big Fudge’s microfiber cloth ensures a spotless, fingerprint-free finish, gentle enough for rare pressings, yet effective for everyday listening.
Is the system automatic?
No, Record Friend™ is manual by design, allowing precise, hands-on cleaning. Simply rotate each record slowly in the basin before drying to achieve optimal results.
