Covid-19 Statement

Michigan is now under an executive stay-at-home order until April 14th, 2020. Here is what we know so far about how Paragon will be affected:

Showroom
Our brick-and-mortar store is now closed. In-person appointments will be rescheduled once we have re-opened. You can still call the main store number at 734.662.3595 and our front desk receptionist will deliver phone messages to the relevant staff. Paragon employees are working remotely and are still available to assist as best we can.

Paragon Online
We are happy to take your order, but fulfillment may be delayed. Upon careful review of Michigan’s “stay-at-home” order, the spirit of the mandate is to keep people safe. Some may interpret things differently, but we believe the intent is clear.

Shipping audio equipment, no matter how much we love it (and we do!), is not essential business during a global health emergency.

If you would like to make a purchase, you have a few options. You may pay for your order in-full with the understanding that we will fulfill as soon as we are legally able. You may also contact us and we will work with you on making a deposit that will hold your equipment until the Executive Order is lifted.

We are also able to drop-ship some products directly from manufacturers and a limited number of products that are warehoused that do not require our staff to be physically present. The availability of these shipping services is dependent on individual vendors and may be affected by the situations in their home states. Please contact us for the most up-to-date information.

All shipments that cannot be drop-shipped as described above will have to wait until the stay-at-home order is lifted, which is currently projected to be 4/14.

We will continue to update this information as needed and we hope you understand.

Paragon Smart
All scheduled custom install jobs will be rescheduled once we are open again. If you have a job scheduled, your salesperson will call you.

Paragon Sight & Sound will continue to offer service for Information Technology systems installed by Paragon. Our remote monitoring platforms have so far maintained reliability, and we will continue to monitor these and utilize remote tools as available. If the issue cannot be resolved over a phone call, we offer FaceTime service through Apple’s iOS clients or Skype for other platforms.

Pursuant to section 4b of Governor Whitmer’s order, in the case of emergency service needs, Paragon has designated Russell Shank as an essential employee for on-site repair visits.

Remote Service Options

Paragon Sight & Sound will continue to offer service for Information Technology systems installed by Paragon. Our remote monitoring platforms have so far maintained reliability, and we will continue to monitor these and utilize remote tools as available.

If your issue cannot be resolved over a phone call, we offer Facetime service through Apple’s iOS clients or Skype for other platforms. During the stay-at-home order, we will not be servicing equipment in-store. If you have a piece in the store for service, we will continue repairs once the Executive Order has lifted.

For in-home service calls, we will offer remote options through FaceTime for iOS customers or Skype for Android customers. Please call the main store line at 734.662.3595 and our front desk receptionist will take your information and send it to the appropriate person. You will then receive a call-back to initiate service.

For emergency service situations, Russell Shank will be on-call.

Payment is due at time of service. A Paragon technician will take your credit card information during your call.
