Introducing McIntosh MR87 AM/FM Tuner
The early 70's saw the birth of one McIntosh's most celebrated tuners - the MR78. With the introduction of the MR87, McIntosh has taken all of the best features of the MR78 and pushed their capabilities further with cutting edge technology.
McIntosh's proprietary radio frequency circuitry allows the MR87 to receive strong, distortion-free FM signals, whether they originate from nearby or farther from home. The AM antenna has been replaced by a 20 foot cable for placement flexibility, ensuring best possible reception.
The MR87 has retro styling as a nod to its 1970's counterpart, and users will enjoy the convenience of being able to program up to 20 AM and FM stations into the tuner's memory. McIntosh's iconic chassis and faceplate makes scrolling through stations a pleasure, and a digital readout on the front displays genre, song title, artist, and any other available information broadcast from the station.
