The George Harrison Essential III turntable features an adjustable 8.6” one-piece aluminum tonearm utilizing sapphire bearings, which house a factory mounted Ortofon OM10 cartridge. The main bearing is precision machined, high-grade stainless steel, and the drive pulley is crafted from aluminum. The acrylic platter speed is regulated by a new DC motor speed controller. This turntable includes Connect it E interconnect hardwired directly to the output.
Pro-Ject worked with Bravado, Apple Corps, and Studio Number One to create a work of art based on George Harrison’s personal analog recording console, which can be seen underneath the acrylic platter, and the 2014 art-print lithograph designed for the Harrisons by artist Shepard Fairey.
