Look Mom, no wires! Grado’s first true wireless headphones, the GT220
continues their journey of making Grado’s signature sound wireless.
“The way the GT220 articulate every breathe of the vocalists, every pause and sweep of the string section, is nothing short of breathtaking.” -Forbes
Grado’s first true wireless in-ears, the GT220 mark a milestone in the company’s seven decades of audio. Years in the making, Grado didn’t want to rush the process of creating a compact and versatile wireless Grado headphone with such vocality and depth. Control music, calls, and more with just a tap, or your voice with the built-in microphone. Easy to always have around, they’re ready when you are.
With 36 hours of listening, the GT220 are up for anything from a subway ride to work to your next coast-to-coast flight. The true wireless headphones hold 6 hours of playtime, while their case can charge them back up 5x over.
Don’t give up a precious cable when a wireless charger is on the table. The GT220 case has both USB-C and wireless charging options. Whether you’re throwing it on for a quick charge before you run out, or plugging it in overnight, the choice is yours.
The GT220 has a bifurcated capacitive touch system: the left side controls phone & voice, while the right side controls music playback. With a twist to lock, the GT220 can create a tight seal in your ear, which plays a major role in sound reproduction. Also included is full volume control for when you’re half awake on a flight and don’t feel like taking your phone out.
Grado signature sound means the midrange response is neutral and musical without any coloration, while the bass is definitive with excellent extension. The high frequency response is natural without any stridency. No matter the size, Grado gives all their drivers an equal amount of love. They’ve spent as much time as needed tuning and fitting the signature mini-drivers for these TWS headphones.
The Grado GT220
are available for purchase in-store or online, and retail for $259.
