About Chris

My experience with Linn starts in 1976 at the ripe young age of 20. I had a good summer job and saved enough to buy an LP12! It was such a startling improvement in the way it brought me the music.  Music is the expression of emotion and it carried it in spades.  The improvement was not a bass and treble kind of spectacularity, although it did, but conveying the emotion of the performers.  I was now listening to new and different types of music that I was previously unaware of.

I conveyed my enthusiasm to the owners of the high end stereo store I was working at in 1978.  We became with my suggestion a Linn dealer as well as Audio Research and Quad electrostatic speakers.

In 1980 I was sent to a sales training course as was Larry Marcus. We bonded over mutual love of Quads and formed a life long friendship that continues to this day.

My enthusiasm for the LP12 and Linn products in general led me to working with the then Linn distributor Audiophile Systems.

I jumped at the chance of showing Linn Products and being of service with 45 years of setup experience.
